I am absolutely a product of my generation. See below:
1. This afternoon, I realize I use the “Repeat 1” option on iTunes. A lot. In fact, I love to listen to the same song on repeat for hours.
2. I worry that this might be an indication of deep-rooted psychological issues. I google it…just to be sure.
3. I’m relieved to find that there over 1,390,000 related results on Google, and that there are tons of forums and Facebook groups of people like me. They didn’t create the “Repeat 1” function for nothing. Phew.
4. Relief fades; disappointment sets in. Am I not unique? Am I not an individual?
5. I return to listening to my single song.
I used to buy all my food here in London, despite my dreams of shopping at Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.
